Online Games

April 2012... according to my Gamer's Archive, that was the last I posted something on this blog. I have reasons why this blog was not getting updates for the past year.

1. If some was able to follow me on my personal blog (Extraordinary Life of an Xtraordinarymom), late 2011, I gave birth to my second son. And having 2 growing little boys around without a helper made everything pretty hectic for me as a mom. I shed off a lot for myself including cutting some time- off playing online games .

2. I had log-in problems with my accounts online. I've been absent in the gaming world for about a year. Within those months, my accounts had several suspicious log-in attempts. With the help from some friends who are also gamers, I was able to retrieve everything back.

3. PlayStation 3 as an alternative for a busy gamer mom like me. I don't want to be a burden to my fellow players online, so I use the PlayStation to unwind and where I can pause my game in case I need to attend to something.

But within all that was mentioned, I still want to go back to online games. Online casino games are now famous.
There is a wide variety of games. Mostly are slot games and the roulette.  First of all, you need to be at the right age. Next, be wise. Though playing these games will all depend on how lucky you are, put into mind that if money is at stake one should be smart on deciding down to choosing the right game. For online casinos, there are set pay-out percentages that tell you the chances of emerging successful in one of these games.

Any game can be fun as long as you know your limit. It would be nicer to be able to go back to playing your favorite casino game over and over again because you're able to regulate your time and the money spent. With the games I play online, I also shed some money for play time. The system on online gaming is the same. You just have to follow the rules and make sure you get your money's worth without going overboard.

Play Time With Diablo III Open Beta Weekend

Did you have fun playing DiabloIII over the weekend? I did, even though I got kicked out from the server several times. Funny because some people found DiabloIII boring, maybe they missed out on the first 2 installments. Pulling inspiration from Diablo 1 &2, definitely, I can say that Diablo3 is considered as one of the much-awaited games of Blizzard.

What happened was all part of a stress test, it's understandable if play time went rough over the weekend. DiabloIII is the in-between of games. It's not really that boring and it's not too complicated and stressful to play yet, it guarantees a satisfying adventure. My short journey through a monk was still awesome. I can't wait to have a copy.

Doin' The Move with PlayStation 3

It's been a pretty hectic March for me and my family. One of the things that's keeping me busy is the new PS3 Move.
It's a choice between Xbox and PS3. Since we have been using PlayStation our whole life, from PS1,  to PS2 it's best to get something that is familiar to us already. Besides, it's a super good deal because PlayStation 3 is also a Blu-ray Player. PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye camera to track the wand's position, and inertial sensors in the wand to detect its motion. -source-
The PlayStattion 320GB Move Bundle came with :

  • PlayStation®Move motion controller (wireless)
  • HDMI cables, etc...
  • PlayStation®Eye camera
  • The DUALSHOCK®3 Wireless Controller
  • a bonus game which is the Sports Champions.

  • We bought a Vertical Stand separately with charging stations for the controllers and a rack for the games. A wireless keypad later on. We tried it when we were in search of the best game console in the market. I have been working out through the dance moves of Everybody Dance and the Michael Jackson Experience. Total workout. At the same time, it's enjoyable. You wouldn't even notice the time, a person can practically dance the whole day. Gran Turismo is also one of my favorites. In PlayStation 2 it's the only game that kept me occupied. Better graphics with PlayStation 3. More cars, more action.
The Michael Jackson Experience is my favorite because I'm can dance to my favorite Michael Jackson moves. Well before, I just watch him dance on television, wondering if I can do such dance moves. Now, as tribute, PlayStation 3 was able to come out with the Michael Jackson Experience. I chose it over Zumba, it is a must-have.

    Diablo III Open Beta Weekend!

If you haven't heard... it's Diablo III Open Beta Weekend!

Testing the game's servers through a stress test

Please go to this link below and you will find the page of information. Another link is also provided on the mentioned page where you can download Diablo 3. This open access is good for 3 days, exclusive for players with a valid Battle. net account.

This gaming blog of mine became active again because of this Open Beta Weekend for Diablo 3. I have been waiting for this trial. It's been a long time since I finished Diablo 1 and 2. With the trial, I created a Monk that is close to my old character---The Assassin. If I'm going to be asked for a feedback...  So far, everything is running smoothly. Few characters though, but it gave me the feeling that they're saving room on adding more characters in the near future, I hope so.

Story wise, there's something mysterious about it, which I totally dig, because as a "hero" in this game, we're always in search for the truth, we want to unveil the mystery and kill the big boss in the end. I also like the W0W-like set up, if you play W0W it's going to be easy switching to Diablo 3. Graphics? way better than the first 2. I thought that it's not going to be that nice because I've been hearing comments from other players. But hell with those comments! People, you don't compare Starcraft with Diablo or even worst, with the World of Warcraft. All games are created differently, you gotta play it yourself  to see and to be able to get the feel of the game. In this post, are just  initial observations made through the Open Beta Weekend for Diablo3. There's more to explore and to discover in this new game.

I gotta say, Blizzard has done it again... it's addicting and I am going to purchase Diablo 3 asap!

    A 7-Day Free Playtime

So it has been months since I last played World of Warcraft. Yesterday, was my big come back. When I went to the Blizzard store to purchase a month of game time, I found a surprising note posted under my account. I didn't hesitate to check what was it about. I thought it was just some scam, but on second thought, I'm accessing it using my account, so it's gotta be from Blizzard. When I clicked on it, I was granted a 7- day free game time, valid until August 3, 2011, exactly a week from now.

So I saved up my money for extra load. Might as well buy a new game time when my free playtime is over.

    Thank you Blizzard!
